hey i'm will!
Born and raised in New York, I'm a mathematician musician. An interest in culture, current events, and data led me to pursue my B.S. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics at SUNY Stony Brook University, while a random love for the piano pulled me toward music at age 15.
I don't necessarily "work in math", but I find my prior coursework invaluable in my day-to-day and general knowledge base, and I am always using math. Being able to properly interpret data, break down problems, and automate workflows has been extremely useful to me. As you can see with this website, the technical skills I obtained during my degree have proven quite useful.
While at college, I worked as a tutor and then eventually as a project manager at West Palm Test Prep, where I helped project manage the beginnings of whiz.study.
At 19, also while at college... I started my artist project Aurorum. My music led me to contract work at Chaotic Good Projects and then a full-time role post-grad, with my work focusing on digital marketing campaigns for music industry clients.
Day to day, I run social strategy and campaigns producing high-performing posts, coordinating spend, and improving the systems our teams use to execute and scale campaigns at Chaotic Good Projects.
When I'm not working, I'm practicing piano/guitar, reading, running, or producing for Aurorum.... amongst other side projects...
